Yeah, I am a little sad today.
All my grandmas are gone, my step-mother is gone, my ex-mothers-in-law are gone, my Ma, who lived next door to me and I helped take of is gone (ten years!).
I had five sisters—two are gone, and three remain. All had breast cancer, those three survived it.
I’ll wish them a happy mother’s day as they’re all mothers, but there will always be a hole in my heart where my Mothers were.
But I spent the absolutely fine morning out in the garden, and know my Ma is up there watching me and smiling.
