I don’t do too well on low protein diets. Tomatoes and potatoes are about the only thing I mess with anymore. Some garlic. I do like spinach and I stocked up on that at Walmart. 6lb cans for 4.72, shipped.

That is what sanctions did, weaponized the USD- the world is ditching dollars and is turning to commodities based currencies- keep in mind Russia is the largest exporter of energy and commodities in the world, China is the largest provider of intermediate and consumer goods.
As of yesterday, only two currencies ROSE against the USD- Russian Ruble and Brazilian Real.The Ruble is at 64, the highest it has ever been, and rising!
So, Xi and Vlad say in the very near future, checkmate, again.

I can sympathize. I’m missing enough enzymes to need animal proteins, specifically, in my diet.
But, it’s good to figure out what you are able to grow and use. This year I’m expanding the list of things I’m growing to feed my chickens. :)
