ATHENS, Ala. – An Alabama man who was nearly murdered by Casey Cole White described the escaped convict as “hunter-like” and warned he knows how to hide — as he compared the accused killer to Charles Manson and Ted Bundy.

He’s like Huner Biden?
The guy has a freakishly long neck.
Maybe he’s reincarnated from some 1870’s outlaw that had stretched.
😆
Dude in the rainbow tie-dyed shirt says...
“He’s got two guns and he’s pointing them at me and my boyfriend.”
Maybe they just want a miniseries like the Dannemora escapees a few years back.
As for Vicky, the correction officer who apparently absconded with Casey, Abernathy had one question: “Why?
this guy’s dog is a true hero! Good on ya, Missy Britches.
From what I’ve read, Manson and Bundy were very different. Bundy was hands-on, Manson was not.
“Hunter-like”.
I guess that’s supposed to be a big insult now - being compared to a hunter.
Sure hope nobody ever calls me that!
I wonder if he offed the female guard?
My thought, too. I think that’s a definite possibility, that he has or will as soon as she becomes a liability.
Or as soon as he has access to all the cash she took out of her bank. It was in the tens of thousands iirc.
I think “predator” is the word that is most appropriate.
And likely ALL other people are a means to an end, not just the guard, who was probably convinced that he loved her.
I’m currently watching unsolved mysteries. Quite a few stories like this on there.
Right, “predator” is a lot more appropriate.
But really, there’s nothing wrong with being a predator in the food chain, as all humans naturally are.
I think these journalists should go back to calling murderers murderers, and stop trying to be creative. “Murder” is the unjustified killing by humans of other humans.
That pretty much says it all, and distinguishes the act from innocent animals, innocent hunters, or innocent victims defending themselves.
If the particular murderer killed a lot of people - or was especially brutal, crazy, or sociopathic, we have adjectives for that: “mass”, “serial”, “brutal”, “psycho”, “sociopathic”, etc..
I don’t like “butcher” either - because that’s an innocent and necessary profession.
Calling murders “shootings” or “deaths” or “abortions” is problematic too, because it infers passivity - like they just happened and no one is responsible for committing them.
The term “butcher” has been used euphemistically for military leaders who killed a lot of civilians. Also, the term was used by the Normans to mean an executioner.
And big ears. Maybe he can hide at Disney.
Seriously, he’d kill anyone standing in his way.
He likely got rid of Vicky the minute the car broke down.
