I would also vote for DeSantis over Trump. DeSantis is a fighter with solid governance experience. Trump seems blind to his own weaknesses and is not consistent in attracting and selecting good people.

DeSantis is the gubbernor of FL because Trump carried him over the line {Ron only won by 38,000 votes} and DeSantis knows it.
The thing that you guys seem to miss is that Ron DeSantis is a loyal Trump supporter and knows the fastest way to political death is to go head to head with Trump in a pubbie primary.
If Trump announces he is running in 2024 for President of the United States, Ron DeSantis will be his biggest supporter, and may end up as his VP {if they can restructure a new, non-Florida address for Trump, in time to satisfy the rules}.
There is no law that prevents the Pres/VP being from the same state, but, it is tricky in a close election with the electoral college and who/how they can cast their votes, so that by Trump changing his residence to one of his hotels not in FL, this little issue goes away.
Don't be silly Trump-DeSantis would give them 12 years to unravel this despicable mess if they can overcome the fraud and that is not a given. The people of Venezuela have not been able to vote themselves out of that mess after all and only a fool would believe that the people there are happy enough to want to continue the current path.
