Honestly, I'm not so sure if the U.S. or NATO had any significant involvement in her sinking.

According to H.I. Sutton, the Moskva had developed routine or pattern operations. Predictability like that increases vulnerability. According to this tweet, the Moskva was close to shore, engaged in naval gunfire of shore targets when she was hit. When a warship wakes up a entire coast line by shelling it, James Bond is not needed to know where she is.

Between OSINT watching her movements for a month, coast watchers calling in her general location, and TB-2 Bayraktar drones providing targeting, Ukraine had what it needed to target the Moskva on their own. It is not a case of Ukraine or the U.S. being really smart, as much as the Russians mishandling their navy just as badly as their army.

Assuming all this is true, Kirby taking credit for "Intelligence provided by the US helped Ukrainians sink Russian ship Moskva" could lead to a nuclear war anyway.
