Liberal Women Threaten Sex Strikes to Save Roe, to No One's Dismay
PJ Media ^ | 5 May 2022 | Matt Margolis

If you’ve been on social media at all this week, you’ve probably been amused by some of the unhinged reactions from the left to the leaked draft majority opinion of Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization. They were full of apocalyptic predictions by people who don’t understand what overturning Roe v. Wade would actually do. Be that as it may, it is widely believed that the draft opinion was leaked in order to allow for a pressure campaign to take place in the hopes that some justices could be swayed before the final opinion is released.

Some on the left have come up with creative ways they think will encourage people to save Roe v. Wade.

Earlier this week on The View, co-host Joy Behar floated the idea of a sex strike.

“Women in the world have conducted sex strikes in history,” Behar explained. “In 2003, a sex strike helped to end Liberia’s brutal civil war and the woman who started it was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. In 2009, Kenyan women enforced a sex ban until police political infighting ceased. Within one week, there was a stable government.”

“We have more power than we think we do and some of it could be in the bedroom,” Behar insisted.

One of her co-hosts, Sara Haines, backed the idea, calling it “a perfect weapon and method for the topic we’re talking about.”

And ironically, a strike would potentially reduce the number of unwanted pregnancies, thereby reducing the number of abortions.

Double Plus Good!

Without sex, there won’t be any abortions.

Is that really what they want?

Reducing the liberal breeding rate is a good thing. Not that they have many kids anyhow, but every little bit helps.

Real funny comments on DU about this stuff. They don’t realize that yes, women have less sex drive than men, which is something a 14 year old knows.

It’s basically proven that men need sex within the 18-35 age group far more than women do.

Liberal women threatening to withhold sex. Rosanna Arquette threatening to leave the country.

Win. Win.

As an incel from before the 90s, I don't see how this idea of a sex strike changes anything.

I believe that the Federal government should have NO say about, or funding for, mechanically induced abortions. Chemical abortions should receive the same regulation as any other medicine. As well as condom, IUDs, and "the pill".

In my view, terminating an unborn child is a matter for the woman, the father, the doctor, God, and (in a very limited way) the states or political subdivisions thereto. Contraception should not be regulated more than it needs to be to protect the health of the "loving couple".

What? Oh no! A sex strike? Wait, that sounds a little like abstinence. What a great idea! I think all women should go on a sex strike and NOT put out until the man they want promises to take care of them and any children they may produce, and raise the children to be good and Godly people. You go, girls! If they can’t get the milk for free, they may actually buy the cow!

Please do it! It will be a win/win for our side:

1. Less abortions now! and

2. Less liberals in the future.

Man self esteem is good but sometimes you have to take a serious look at ones self. Yeah, I rather pleasure myself with sand paper than be forced to have relations with Joy Behar.

You just lost the under 40 crowd with anti-sex crowd. At the point where they’ll do it more to spite you.

Yeah...pregnancy was the light switch for my wife. She went from Aphrodite to mother theressa. LOL. There is a reason you see rich 77 year old men with 25 year old women.
