Why should the legal status of a human life depend on which side of state the mother stands on?

We tried that argument already if you recall.

Didn’t end well.

How about mandatory blood clotting injections in order to keep your job and live your life? Our body, our choice too?

WTF is wrong with you? I suppose you think you're some sort of enlightened humanitarian even while promoting the murder of babies. Sad.

You may have noticed he isn't killing babies he is merely burying situations.

"I would require anesthesia for the baby and a decent burial for the situations where the law would permit it."

I live in the deep South and I can tell you blacks, for several reasons, use abortion for birth control

In 1776 “state” meant “nation”, nothing else. The United States is a federation of nations. The civil war did not decide that we were not a federation. It decided that states could not secede.

The Constitution was never an enumeration of all individual rights. It deals with some individual rights, but then throws in the 10th Amendment to deal with all of the others. The Constitution does not deal with abortion. Therefore, authority over abortion is reserved “to the states respectively or to the people”.

Roe v Wade trashed this constitutional premise. If Roe v Wade is simply overturned then authority over abortion will be governed by the 10th Amendment. You might not like that, but that’s how it is.
