No dobbs v jackson isnt going to hand the midterms to democrats
PJ Media ^ | 5/4/22 | Athena Thorne

....But if you strain your ears and concentrate really, really hard, you can detect a separate faint murmur of concern. Some of those on the right, who have been getting through the disaster that is the Biden administration by looking forward to the absolute bloodbath the 2022 midterms promise to be, are quietly voicing their fear that Roe v. Wade being overturned will energize the Left and hand the midterms over to the Democrats.

No worries — Athena is here to allay your fears. Without further preamble, here are the factors which will blunt the political blowback that conventional wisdom has always said would result from Roe being overturned.

FTA; Normals are going to see all of this (protests, violence, lunacy, etc) and shrink from the very thought of leaving these people in power another second. In fact, I predict the Left’s overreaction will wind up motivating more people to vote Republican.

I agree, this can only help us. If it is thrown back to the states, conservatives will have even more reason to go to the polls to define the limits they are comfortable with in their state.

MORE FTA;

Not Everyone Loves Abortion on Demand Right Up to the Moment of Birth

As my colleague Matt Margolis noted (behind the VIP paywall), a large majority (70%) of Americans either oppose all abortion (20%) or favor some restrictions on it (50%). If the Supremes indeed uphold Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, the state of Mississippi would restrict abortion to the first 15 weeks of pregnancy — conforming with the beliefs of a solid majority of Americans.

MORE FTA:

Dobbs Will Have Been in Effect for Months by November and the World Will Still Be Turning

All the states in the union are aware of the impending court decision and have already or are currently preparing their own laws regarding the practice of abortion. As these laws will be crafted at a more local level, they will better reflect the preferences of each state’s citizens. By the time November rolls around, there may even be less discord and strife regarding abortion than there is now. At any rate, the Worst Thing Ever! will have come to pass, the world will have continued to turn, and people will have gone back to being more concerned about inflation, the Biden Recession, and looming war.

And by the way. THANK YOU PRESIDENT TRUMP!! this would never have been possible with a RINO, who only pretend to be conservative and offer empty promises.

It’s a beautiful thing. They’ll be tossing their hero, Ruth Bader Ginsburg under the bus.

It’s re-igniting hate for Cocaine Mitch who kept Garland off the bench for 10 months, while confirming Barrett 2 months before Biden. (both justifiable)

I had a long conversation yesterday with Richard Baris, America’s Pollster (most accurate over the last decade) and he said THE most “likely to vote” group are the hard core pro-aborts. “There is nothing that will get more of them out,” he said. “They already are coming out at nearly 100%.”

The problem I see is the continued use of computer voting machines. All of them are connected to the Interne no matter what protestations are cried by the installers and producers. Anything connected to the Inet is hackable and the vote apportioning algorithms that are part of their programming don’t even require hacking unless the algorithm percentages are seen as too low and need to be modified.

Violence and mayhem condoned and enabled by the left (BLM getting to paint themselves large on streets, anyone?) didn’t result in any landslide at all for 2020. Why now?

Your neighbors are commie traitors, true believers in “the ends”. Time to recognize that fact, that leftists don’t get into power and stay without all that support.

Before the leak, the ardent pro-abortion voters were already voting Democrat. Those who would vote for Republicans but for their opposition to abortion are likely few. On the other hand, there seems to be family friendly, normally Democrat, Hispanics and Muslims who are getting uneasy about abortion, LGBT, and sexually wilding Democrats.

No, overturning Roe v. Wade will energize the Left’s base, but I don’t think it will energize the independents enough to make a difference.

But this leak will energize the House and Senate Dems to take drastic action prior to the midterms in removing the Senate filibuster, passing legislation to expand the court by 4 or more seats, and ram through confirmation hearings on new liberal Justices.

From their point of view, if they’re going to lose control of the House and Senate anyway, then they may as well go out with a bang...

Exactly... can the left piss off the American electorate yet more than it already has? Apparently so. Go for it, lefties.

They are already overreaching. The bloodbath is going to be unprecedented. They will also be finally caught in their massive fraud, as 2000 Mules has revealed their tactics in full, and the resulting public rage will be catastrophic.

Who would have ever thought it would be necessary to designate yourself as “pro-life”? Here we are though, facing such an evil opponent that it has become necessary so never let a leftard tell you they're “pro-choice” because you'd be giving them a pass…..Call them what they are….baby killers. Groomers and baby-killers.

Striking down Roe won’t hand the midterms to the Democrats. It may lessen the losses slightly but the overall impact probably isn’t going to be that great.

Yep they are going to go Nuclear in Senate.

Republicans should be out there hammering the fact that Biden voted against Roe vs Wade in 1982. In 1982, the then 39-year-old senator supported a constitutional amendment to the ruling, citing his Roman Catholic religion for his support.
But the bill never made it to the full Senate, and when it came back up the following year, Biden voted against it and has since supported abortion rights.

But then again, we suck at messaging. Even ole Mitch in his speech didn’t bring this fact up.

Clearly, the Dems think they are going to get whomped in the midterms and now have to lie, cheat, steal and commit crimes to reduce the damage.

Interesting. I also agree with the other posters. After decades of voting for less-than-desirable GOP presidential candidates on the theory that their Supreme Court appointments might overturn Roe, Trump paid off for us. I think this taste of victory is going to make the right hungry to vote for more victory
