Flying is an "all-in" commitment and the job offers little to transfer to other careers. Since pilots are one failed physical away from losing their career, who would ever go down that path just to be told a decade or two in that you have to take an experimental injection that could kill you or ruin your health and end your career?
Their union, instead of threatening a massive strike before the airlines issued the diktats, instead threw them under the bus.
I am a retired Navy jet pilot with an ATP and put in an application to Southwest. They did not even consider my application because I do not have the death shot. Will not even bother to apply to another airline.
It’s not just the COVID-19 diktats deterring pilots. The mandated jabs are already reducing pilot numbers & causing unsafe flying conditions - jabbed pilots are telling certain people (Josh Yoder) that they are flying with chest pains.
Per Dr. McCullough, cardiologist, every jabbed pilot needs to be screened to see if they are safe to fly - the 4 tests he believes are necessary:
Baseline EKG
Troponin levels
D-dimer
Cardiac MRI
Dr. McCullough estimates 30% of jabbed pilots would be found to have heart issues that would result in a failed physical.

Therefore, I predict they will simply pretend this never happened. If a plane goes down, it’s OK because the insurance companies will pay and they will pretend it was just an accident.
So everyone will look the other way while these incidents continue.”
