"This man is excommunicated ipso facto" Maybe so. But it would be a teaching moment if one of the gutless bishops excommunicated Biden loud and clear for all to hear, so as to underline the fact. Each bishop finds a way to shirk his duty. They want to be "nice" and "liked".
It is not complicated. One need only ask what would St. Paul do? What would St.Peter do?
