you could even detect the mules ‘organically’ by establishing the geo-coords of the drop boxes and recording the number of times any cellphone-id passed a drop box. you’d quickly establish the mules from the lot.
after that, pics sent from the phones are sent via email.
all emails are tracked... meaning we have copies of the email and the to / from addresses.
the cellphone-id tracks to a personal account.
that person has a bank account.
the payments to those accounts could be easily spotted by cross referencing.
the payments would have an origin account.
the origin account would be attached to an organization or person.
etc etc
You’re absolutely right. A scheme like this would leave a huge trail. Consider that Joel Greenberg will be doing a decade in jail and he was only one individual who got nailed for his Venmo history.
