The argument for college is that you get intangible educational experiences, like arguing about Plato with a world renown professor under an oak tree in the quad. But that’s not a thing. Instead, you sit in a lecture hall with a thousand other saps listening to some pony-tailed grad student demand you respect xis pronouns. Most of the other intangible experiences include waking up wearing someone else’s pants and needing Advil and a shower.
Some kids still go to college for valid reasons: to go to football games, get drunk, and get laid.
