I totally agree, but it all depends on the state’s laws. Anyone under 18 is a juvenile and is thus protected by the laws governing juvenile criminals most of which forbid publicly identifying them. Depending again on the state’s laws, juveniles can be charged as adults for certain crimes, then their names and pictures can be released.
