I work with a college instructor who is in his late 60’s and he claims to be a classical liberal. One day he picked a fight about free speech and I said, I’m all for it. I got him to say he was for free speech and the 1st Amendment. Then in the next two minutes he was railing against Trump on twitter and he shouldn’t be allowed to tweet or post anything online! I said I thought you were for free speech? I am he exclaimed! But you just said it was okay to censor the president so you can’t be for free speech and can’t be a classical liberal like you claim to be. He left my office in a huff but came back for more the next day. It’s fun tormenting liberals at times.
Its just too easy sometimes.
