Separately, the governor of the Kursk region which also shares a border with Ukraine said that a railway bridge had been damaged on a line used by freight trains.

Speaking in a video posted on his Telegram channel, governor Roman Starovoit called the incident an act of sabotage.

Given what has been happening in Ukraine, I was wondering if the Ukes were attacking the Russian rail system upon which so much of the Russian strategic mobility depends. Cut a stretch of track, they can repair it fairly quickly. But drop a span, and the railroad is out of commission for weeks, if not months. All infrastructure needs to be attacked when possible.

Russians bitching about being attacked has to be one of the funniest things in this war.
