You are out of your mind. Buchanan most certainly did not support the Ukrainians in that article. Every word in the article is about “will Russia accept our idea to weaken them with a protracted conventional war” and “does this increase the risk of us getting nuked”.
There is not a single word supporting the Uke cause.
I will admit you are correct. Pat is full of musings here. It might have been another column of his where he was pro-Ukrainian.
