*Teacher in question says parents were not required to sign a permission slip for this. Why not, the article does not say.
Anyone with any decency should be outraged.
This kind of stuff has been going on in schools longer than many realize.
Not a surprise at all, unfortunately.
People are just now starting to look closely at what is going on at schools and people are getting upset - but it is has been going on under all of our noses for a very long time it turns out when they end up getting discovered.
There should be no “permission slip” involved as it should not be happening, period.
