If one looks at Cheney’s resume it’s deep state all the way. He’s just another of those DC “public servants” who have gotten filthy rich “serving his country”. No matter the calamity that befalls everyday Americans, the deep state folks just keep raking it in.
A staunch legalistic control freak like Cheney, and his daughter, would of course see Trump in that light. They couldn’t make a decision unless they had a full court of congress and a team of lawyers standing at their side in a week long meeting.
