Composite battalions composed of remnants from an ass kicking retreat do not tend to be very motivated. Especially when the ass kicking came as the result of incompetent leadership. They are more likely to be exhausted and frustrated. Which is currently being reflected in very little progress in their “major offensive” in the Donbas area.

The Russians are also posting complaints about their supplies.

Russian mercenaries posted this comparison of a Russian soldier's first-aid kit (above) and a Ukrainian one (below). "This is what Putin and Shoigu brought us to..", one of the commenters complain.

No one in Russia expected to invade Ukraine. That's why everyone stole from the military budget. Until Putin said "we're going to war"
