An American family set off a bomb scare at Israel’s main airport when they showed security inspectors an unexploded shell
that they found while visiting the Golan Heights and had packed for their return trip, authorities said.

Fully agree...especially when it comes to BidenVoters.
First of all they are tourists, therefore they either took a tourist bus to the Golan or they drove a rental car.
If they took a bus there, this would have to happen:
1 - family is walking around and touristing
2 - kid finds the shell and picks it up
3 - dad says "hey, whatcha got there?"
4 - all family members handle and examine shell
5 - tour guide says "time to go to our next spot"
6 - dad or mom places shell in plastic bag because it's dirty
7 - family boards bus, tour guide not aware of UXO on board
8 - tour ends, family returns to hotel
9 - dad or mom packs shell in suitcase, flying out next day
10 - Airport officials soil their drawers
If they drove rental car their:
1 - family is walking around and touristing
2 - kid finds the shell and picks it up
***Here is where the kid could have withheld info about shell. Kid could have returned to the car and hidden it***
3 - kid packs his own bag
4 - Airport officials soil their drawers
I suppose that it is possible for the kid, in the bus scenario, to hide the shell, but unlikely.
The report calls it a shell fragment. If its an obvious fragment then the story changes from the parents (if they knew about it) were incredibly stupid to they showed an obvious lack of good judgment.

I had a friend get his visa revoked for just taking a dive light and turning it on at an Israeli security checkpoint.
This is NOT going to go well for them.
They let them go.

Can someone verify that is an exploding shell and not some type of solid armor piercing?
Wouldn't an exploding shell have something on the tip if the nose to act as a detonator?
