Debra Messing made her appeal in a tweet on Wednesday, apparently sensing that a Democratic Twitter exodus would only worsen the party’s already poor outlook for the midterms.

WORLD—According to sources, an eccentric immigrant entrepreneur from South Africa just accomplished more for free speech than Republicans have in decades of controlling the government, wielding Federal power, and spending trillions of dollars.
“Wow! Who is this guy? He’s really making us look bad here,” said one Republican Senator. “This Twitter deal is such a huge step forward for freedom of expression! Wow! Imagine if other conservative wealthy people did stuff like that instead of funding our reelection campaigns? Um, wait—I didn’t mean that. Scratch that. Are you recording this?”
“Man, why didn’t I think of doing something like that?” said the Republican Senator. “If you vote for me, I’ll form a committee after the election season to explore the reasons we didn’t think of that!”
Looks like there is a rash of cautionary, deep thinkers who are piling on about not trusting Musk. Can he be any worse than the managers of the company are now? And the difference with him is that he has been/will be lynched. That is what happens now when you stick your neck out.

There is a platform with no rules and where there is total freedom of expression for everybody. and it seems everyone on the globe has been accessing it for years and been much better off for it. It’s called the internet that has every form of information, misinformation, bots, ridicule, hate speech, virtue signaling, helpful and unhelpful advice, etc. and the amazing thing is that everyone keeps coming back...that is, except to CNN+ which is proof most people, without help from a censor with an agenda, can distinguish fact from fiction. Wonder if those who oppose Elon’s free speech absolutism would also advocate shutting down the internet. I would love to hear the book burners’ arguments for shutting it down. No, not you, President Xi.

I’m not exactly sure of the cost for Elon to purchase Twitter, but the entertainment value as a result is priceless.
Like all of us, Depp’s got his demons.....fortunately he divorced one in 2017.
She should be begging them not to commit suicide when all is lost. Either in the midterms or when President Trump is reelected by an overwhelming majority. Sure, it will likely mean the end of “woke”, “political correctness” and “socialism” in the United States, and it will wreck globalism and socialism in many other nations as well.
And yes, it will mean originalist constitutionalism and religious freedom, that oligopoly industries will be broken up, and the scoundrels who encouraged riots in US cities will be put in federal prisons for extended stays.
But it is no reason for leftists to kill themselves.
Debra Messing and other Hollywood leftists should preach loud and long that suicide is not the answer.
