So much for Russia though...given their poor performance in Ukraine, I don’t anticipate them being able to field a force that leads or at least takes part in such a giant invasion unless some evil genius tyrant takes over that can put such forces into shape...though the scripture mentions that God himself is in the middle of fomenting such an invasion as part of his judgment on those forces and nations.

The other scenario I see is this....Russia is bloodied badly in Ukraine and is completely backed into a corner by the world...they have “chats” with the leaderships of Turkey, Iran, Palestinians, China ect....they all decide to take their militaries and make a massive thrust “last gasp” “hail Mary” thrust into the Middle East to try and take it and control the world thru capturing its energy supplies or if not successful, they try taking themselves and the whole world down in flames. The USA may or may not be involved...we may have well destroyed ourselves in a civil war and split into several nation states at war with each other.Our own domestic Nukes may have been involved in our own undoing but those who unleashed them earned a pyrrhic victory at best with half the nation poisoned...much to the horror of the envirronmentalists(wait till the see the oceans turned to blood and all the cute whales dead.) Yellowstone also might go off in which case...I’m glad I live in Virginia.

Of course if Russia and it’s “friends” try what I described we know what God’s response will be by his direct own hand or by some other means that will signify that God was involved.(Nukes aren’t fire and brimstone falling from the sky...but the description of the clean up in the Bible where bodies are marked for later burial suggest radiation or toxic exposure.) Of course we know at some point the Son of Perdition will enter the scene with some genius peace plan and we will also learn which of the various “Trib/Rapture” scenarios will play out.
