Let’s ensure that Lavrov’s wife and daughter are included on any counterstrike target list.

This is the same arrogant prick who said that the Baltics and Poland were not real countries, and would soon resume their rightful positions as Russian territories, and who complained about a loss of “goodwill” in negotiations with the Ukraine, after they invaded, destroyed cities, displaced millions and committed too many war crimes to count.

He needs to just be killed.

There are the rants of politicians who are afraid the are loosing and don’t want to loose a real war that they started. Actually, one that they started in 2014 and restarted in February 2022.

And if the Russians used them once on a limited basis what would cause them not to use them over and over if we didn’t respond?

We could do limited strikes of our own, both conventional or nuclear. We could supply tactical nukes to Russia’s opponents for them to retaliate with. We could respond with chemical or biological weapons. We could devote our resources to fomenting coups and revolutions, either in Russia, or in her allies. Etc, etc, etc….

<… If Russia feels backed into a corner with only their nuclear weapons preventing them from being further retaliated against, that is a very weak position, but once they actually use those nuclear weapons, they are in an even weaker position, since they can no longer plausibly say “do this or we might use nukes”.

You’re assuming that a Putin-led Russia would continue to escalate if responded to in-kind in only a proportional, tit-for-tat manner. No one really knows how they would respond in that scenario, but my gut instinct is that there is at least a better than even chance that if we or Europe started exchanging individual nukes with them that they would perceive that as the beginning of the end for Russia and would launch an all-out strategic strike, figuring they had nothing left to lose and betting on the possibility of doing more damage to us than we could do to them (and possibly pre-emptying some of our retaliatory capability in the process). Don’t forget that they have both an extensive underground civil defense infrastructure (which we do not) and a very different doctrine than ours for first use of nuclear weapons. The first mistake in war is to assume that your adversary thinks exactly as you do, and values the same things (life) in the same way.

It is because of these differences, and the uncertainties they create, that I said that Putin would be able to force the West into essentially having to go “all-in” by being willing to risk a possible total escalation, in response to any limited use of nukes by Russia.

One thing is certain: Continuing to send heavier and more capable weapons to Ukraine, while simultaneously trying to destroy Russia’s economy and talking loosely about “regime change” in Russia, only makes my proposed scenario more likely. We have nothing to gain from all of this from the standpoint of U.S. national security, and much to lose. While we’re messing around in Ukraine, China is quietly lurking in the shadows, continuing their military build-up, and I believe secretly hoping that we and Russia really get into it so that they can march in and take over whatever is left.

If Russia seriously threatens NATO member countries, THEN we must respond. But in the meantime, we’re just falling into a globalist trap by accepting the premise that ANY aggression by ANY country against ANY other MUST be met by a global military response. The globalists are pushing that mindset in furtherance of their goal of getting the nations of the world to accept a true global government. Global government would be the worst form of evil to ever befall mankind, far outweighing the messiness that comes with sovereign nations sometimes fighting with each other. The European and U.S. response to this Russia vs. Ukraine mess seems to be directly intended to further demonize the concept of national sovereignty and to persuade people that only global institutions can ensure peace.

We’re a major target here.
We had most of the Russian Navy Far East fleet off of Kauai a few months ago , in exercises . HANG F-22s had to scramble to intercept Tu95s probing the edge of our airspace.
ChiCom subs lurk with view of shore.

Nobody’s safe , anywhere

Austin says Ukraine can still win this, while Russia speaks of nuclear escalation.

What a retard.

One thing is certain, Ukraine will not “win” in any reasonable understanding of the word.

There is a big difference, the US is being led by persons unknown, with loyalties that are also unknown.

The Russkies keep threatening nukes. They better be careful they don’t initiate a preemptive strike on themselves.

I would put money on the fact that if Russia popped off nukes on the US, Biden and the military would do nothing. It is highly likely that the codes are inactive at this time. The PTB plan on a post America world, and would prefer it.

“”Lavrov said that by providing weapons to Ukraine, NATO countries were “pouring oil on the fire” and risking “World War III.””

____________

Now they’re talking the CIA’s, WEF’s, Soros’, DNC’s, DOJ’s, UN’s, Clintons’, Bushes’, Brennan’s and Kerry’s language. Mission coming to fruition.

“Lavrov said that by providing weapons to Ukraine, NATO nations were already “in essence engaged in war with Russia.””

It’s not a war, it’s a special Military operation.

That makes it all OK, Lavrov.

By deliberately targeting civilians and destroying cities, displacing millions; Russia “in essence, has made first use of weapons of mass destruction”.

Biden (or his handlers ) should say, “America has nukes too, and our WORK. We will stop arming Ukrainians when we get to 100,000 dead Russian soldiers. That would more than make up for Korea, Vietnam, Gulf War I, GWOT, and other military incursions where Russian weapons and soldiers were used to kill Americans....then we'd call it even, By the way its ice cream and nappy time. Bye".

NOBODY wins a nuclear war. NOBODY!

Unless you figure in a dementia pedophile and commie halfrican married to a he-she....those in DC might just not retaliate or counterstrike.

That's the fear I have. No counterstrike due to America-hating leaders. Hell, they may WANT it to happen.

We have seen what happens when biological weapons are released.
They circle the globe with our ability to travel.

This is not happening in a vacuum....

Today, Russia is cutting off more NATO/European countries, Germany, Poland and Bulgaria, from its natural gas supplies.

Parts of France, Paris and east, have no internet due to ‘malicious’ cables cut.
