Biden doesn’t want to send out strategic oil reserves to Germany until after the midterms. Biden and his goons don’t give a damn about the country. They care about holding on to power.

Politicians don’t want to “solve problems”.

They simply want to “manage the situation”. For political and financial gain.

There are some dem leaders looking at the midterms and right front and center in every meeting is gasoline prices. They have a number that they want gas to be sold at on election day and they are scrambling to figure out how to get there.

They blew all of their opportunities though. The Saudis won't help them because of this fixation on restarting the Iran deal, the strategic oil reserve was never going to really dent oil prices much, and they are already too late for even a drastic change in domestic production policy to make a dent. Can't even replace all the cars with EVs because the car dealers can't even deliver their current stock because of chip shortages.

Still, the staffers are brainstorming. Desperately. They know four dollar gas is a loser. They have probably given up on 2.50 gas and are trying to game out what election day looks like with 3.50 gas, 3.00 gas, and what it would take to get there. Sometime this summer Biden will get sent out to the podium to announce a government plan to either send out more stimmy checks or temporarily nationalize and tank the oil market by buying oil and selling it at a loss to refiners to bring the cost of gas down.

Biden Administration. NOT Biden. If not Joe....then who?

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and other Congressional Democrats, led the charge on banning Russian oil imports.

So...whose ear does she have that could get this done?

Biden is trapped in quandries of his own making.

Rather than ramp back up U.S. production, which we are capable of doing, against his “green” policies, he’ll keep supplying Putin with revenue from Germany, which is contrary to his attempts to aid Ukraine.

Some idiots try to have things “both ways” but Biden is trying to have things six different ways to Sunday simultaneously, creating policies that are working at cross purposes.

Jimmy Carter was incompetent, but his administration was genius compared to Biden.

Maybe they should have listened to Trump instead of laughing at him

Frigging blockheads.

“Too bad their Ukrainian Puppets (with our help, no doubt) took out the oil pipeline in Russia...same one that supplies Germany.”

Germany supplies weapons to the Ukraine. The Ukraine also gets revenue from this pipeline. I doubt it was the Ukraine that took out the pipeline. If they wanted to shut it down they would just close the pumping stations and close the valves. I think Russia or sympathizers did this.

“I think Russia or sympathizers did this.”

Anything is possible, but I doubt they would have also taken out the storage tanks they were using in the Liberation* of Ukraine. Instead they would have just hit the pipeline and blamed it on Ukraine.

*I have to use that terminology or no one will believe that I’m a puppet of Putin.
