I would encourage anyone who wants the actual facts here to read the linked Reuters article, and not the unsourced tweet from some blogger. For starters, there is zero support for the claim that we have "run out of Stingers", as stated in the title of the post.

The Stinger Block 1 missiles in the U.S. inventory are undergoing a Service Life Upgrade currently. No more Stingers will be manufactured for U.S. forces because a replacement program is underway at this time for a new missile with extended range and improved targeting. The first of the new missiles should be tested next year.

So there are improved Stingers in use now for U.S. forces and a better missile is in the works.

On the bright side, Russia won't have many planes left to shoot down by the time this is over and stingers are not much use in a war with China. If true that we have sent all our stingers to Ukraine and have no MANPADS capability then Gens Austin and Milley, along with everyone else in the decision loop, should be court martialed and shot at dawn. I seriously doubt the story because the guys running the show are too incompetent to mobilize and transport that many stingers.
