As long as Germany Is buying their oil/natural gas it is.

Plus there is lots of talk how the Russians are spending a small fortune to artificially support the rubble. That is not sustainable

But, but Russia is losing the war! I have read so much on this forum about the genius of American sanctions by every Bush-loving neocon Freeper. Why is American money turning into toilet paper while the Runlenis getting stronger? America has much more transvestite power than Russia - this makes no sense!

How could the GOPe be so wrong?

"If Ruble is so strong, maybe RuZZia should end capital controls and let foreigners sell their stock holdings?"

I have read many of your comments over the last few months and there is nothing sadder than being "stuck on stupid." The geniuses who lost the Afghanistan war and now losing their war with Russia.

The head of the Russian central bank refuted all the happy talk from you Pooties with her testimony before the Duma.

Stronger ruble and higher oil prices. Russian oligarchs rejoice.

The longer the conflict in Ukraine goes on, the more global food supplies will be impacted. Prices for food worldwide will rise in response to decreased supplies, to go along with the higher energy costs. The countries most impacted will be those in Africa, the Middle East, and the western hemisphere south of the US. This will lead to mass migration from those countries to the point of overwhelming the first world countries.

The NATO countries, along with select others, are doing everything they can to extend the Ukraine conflict. So then the question comes to mind... is overwhelming the first world countries with mass migration of poor people the real goal of the countries trying to turn the Ukraine conflict into another endless war?

Whoever is handling the puppet strings on Biden has decided that there is nothing that can cause them to drill for more oil or build more pipelines in this country. NOTHING.

What's our national debt? What's our unfunded liabilities? Our local, state, and federal future pension obligations? Our Medicare, Medicaid, and SSI obligations?

We're not sustainable, regardless of what happens to Russia.

That was last news cycle.

CURRENT status of the US dollar is BELOW Russian Ruble.

So you are Bigly Consistently Bigly Wrong Bigly AGAIN.

Try and keep up and at least try to give your propaganda narratives something to plausibly stand on.

Just some friendly advice.

Intentionally. The mass invasion at our southern border is intentional and fully supported by the DNC, RNC and Chamber of Commerce establishment. That aligns with the same globalist agenda that has flooded European nations with immigrants. The method of doing so has been endless war beginning on 9/11. If you genericize the utility of war to globalists, the underlying issues do not matter. Whether it is a "war on terror", "weapons of mass destruction" or "Russian invasion" really does not matter. The important part is revenue to the military industrial complex and chaos that occurs from war. It is easy to get people to buy into military spending based on fear. Most people's thinking stops right there and little though is given to the chaos that ensues. There are a minority that have played through the chaos and are ready to leverage that to their world vision.

Maybe the hungry hordes will instead head to Russia, with all their rubles and gold; should be plenty of food there, no?

Your precious rubble has to pay 17% interest, an insane rate, for anyone to want them. Just like other economic basket cases like Argentina or Zimbabwe.

Your precious rubble

It’s not mine biglywrongagain

The Russian ruble is now,

instead of dollars,

being used by india, ( huge population )

among other nations now,

to buy Russian oil.

My precious US Dollar is being raped by everything Bigly TalyBiden is doing.

The Ruble is supported by a 17% prime rate in Russia. While this encourages folks to hold rubles, it is also killing the Russian domestic economy, which is expected to shrink by over 9% this year.

This is TOO FUNNY!!!

Anyway, if Russia is declared in ‘Default’, I’ll check the strength of the Ruble - if still strong, then they HAVE NOT defaulted, as no country can ‘default’ at a national level without its currency tanking.

As much as I hate to agree with what you posted you are correct with regards to the dollar.

The ruble, however, is not truly floating on the world market right now so it’s a relative few markets setting this value. It is of note that earlier this month the Chinese government had the ruble at ~7500 to the dollar. The citation is in my posting history.

In any case, until the ruble floats on the world market again any value accorded to it is hypothetical since you can’t buy it at any price.
