Topline Authorities in Transnistria, a Moscow-backed breakaway region of Moldova that borders Ukraine, reported two explosions on Tuesday morning, the second instance of violence reported in as many days amid fears the region could be dragged into Russia’s war with Ukraine.
Transnistria’s interior ministry said the explosions targeted a broadcasting center in the village of Mayak near the border with Ukraine.
The blasts knocked down two powerful radio antennae that rebroadcast Russian radio in the region, which is supported by Russia but not recognized internationally, the ministry said in a statement.
There were no injuries among employees or local residents, the ministry added, sharing images of the towers lying on the ground.

Zelensky is right, the madman putin is going after Moldova next.
Do you not realized that, to a near certainty, this wasn’t done by Russia? It was likely done by Ukraine as it was retransmitting Russian radio to southwestern Ukraine.
.
Doesn’t matter who did it, it’ll be used as an excuse for russia to invade more countries. That’s the base outcome.
The people attacking Transnistria are just Trans-phobic
Plenty of Moldovans/Romanians there who can see where the wind is blowing.
I’m afraid Romania will get involved directly if Moldova is invaded.
We both need to get to Mayak ASAP to fight the Russkies. Send me a message so we can meet up ...
Many have mocked the Transnistrians and many have lived to regret it.
I agree. Won’t be a defensive war so it won’t trigger Article 5 but expect Finland and Sweden to join NATO real quick. Russia will also lose all support outside of China and Central Asia. Moldova is no threat to anyone
