“Calling for Russia to be weakened is borderline act of war.”

Then every country on the planet commits a borderline act of war on a daily basis. EVERY country wants to see its adversaries weakened; it would be irresponsible not to.

Apparently, any action that does not grant favors to, or offers support of, the Russian regime is a borderline act of war. The Young Putineers think not buying Stolichnaya is a borderline act of war.

To your point, the Russians openly said they are trying to weaken the U.S. by invading Ukraine. That’s part of how Putin is trying to sell the war domestically.
