Before Disney World was announced, other Disney corporations bought up all the land surrounding the park’s future location. When the Park was announced, all that property’s value skyrocketed.
Smart move.
Now they just have to find 25,000 acres (39 sq mi) of unused land in the Houston area. Easy peasy.
