A buddy of mine lives in Arkansas. Obviously he doesn’t speak for everyone, but tells me that Hutchinson is not well liked in that state.

I hope he does run, gets some big money from the establishment donors and then falls on his face as bad as Harris did. So what if he gets to “keep” the money. I’m sure, once he drops out, those very same donors are making calls saying that want it back.

He is not popular in Arkansas, and knows Sarah Sanders is going to whip his ass. He is just hoping for another job in the new administration.

Going for a favorite—RINO-son-in-every-state strategy to try to beat Trump (or DeSantis)?

Let him and anyone like him run, regardless if it’s Trump or DeSantis they will all get destroyed and will for a little while put a dagger into that type of Republican

Asa Hutchinson and Chris Christie should get together and create a new RINO/Hippo party.

I’m sure it will get the limp wrist vote. /spit

And maybe he can pick Geoff Duncan as his running mate. I’m sure they’ll go far.

I wonder if the media would even show up if these two had some type of rally. Probably just send some intern there with an iPhone.

Another RINO running for the nomination.

And to think that we will have to listen to these RINOs for the next two years, before they get their asses kicked in the 2024 primaries. Ugh!

I was going to say the same thing. He knows he can't win so maybe he thinks he can hurt president Trump before the election. He will come out looking like a ridiculous fool just like Tippy Toes Jebbe.

He’ll lose, but win big as far as presents and perks from A) globalists B) special interests (climate change, etc) and of course C) Democrats. Every time someone does this s/he gets rich.

And just like Lizard Cheney and Murky Murkowski, Asa "Ass Hat" Hutchinson will have a place at the table on the Sunday morning talk shows as the "republican." That's a gig that pays big bucks for a flap-your-jaws session a couple of hours once a week.

pardon my ignorance, but what happens to money donated to a political campaign? Aren’t there legal restrictions on how that money is spent? I mean, someone running for office, and dropping out or losing the election — can he just take that money for personal use?

Hutchinson is apparently popular with the electe elite, or he wouldn’t be chair of the national governors conference.

Is Hutchinson a popular governor? Hutchinson vetoed a bill banning gender-affirming surgery for Ark. minors. That veto was over riden by the GOP controlled state legislature, which puts his state popularity in question. Does he have much popular or political traction in the southern tier of states outside of Arkansas? The answer to those two questions should answer whether or not he can get much support nationally.

It is one thing to “want something/someone else”. It is totally a different thing to think you have what it takes to be that someone/something else.

Hutchinson seems more like a wannabee than an “alternative”.
