According to the West's MOP [Ministry of Propaganda], 8 million Russians have been killed, 200,000 Russian tanks and aircraft have been destroyed, and zero Ukrainian casualties and zero loss of Uke armor and aircraft have been reported.

You are reacting emotionally and not analytically.
We, the global public, need to look at all this as “open source intelligence”, which requires a broad based analytical approach. That is the proper human way to do this, not the animalistic “fight or flight” reaction to information.
Loss reports matter to the extent that it informs our judgment about changes in capabilities for either side in an ongoing conflict. Yes, we are to a large degree trying to predict the future, but that is what we are called upon to do. That is a major part of all human activity.
Engage with the data, do not simply reject it. Examine it in light of other information. Evaluate it for plausibility. See if it “fits” other information or a historical perspective. The fog of war can be clarified to an extent. There is a brain on top of your neck, use it.
Its an information war as much as it is a physical one.
You’d think after Russia-gate folks here would be a bit more circumspect about the information they imbibe.
