I cannot argue with that. Though, there are some here that will.
However there is one the the Ukrainians have been on top of and and are vastly superior in is the propaganda war. They are winning the hands down. And if you think about it, Propaganda Superiority just may be equal to a couple of Russian divisions.

The Ukrainians are exploiting a structural problem in the Russian military. The Russians have nothing like the take-charge seargents and lower officers that the West have. All orders come from the top down. This is because in authoritarian regimes the danger to the regime comes from the military itself. Therefore the military is trained to take orders from the top only. This is to prevent military takeovers. And, this explains why there are so many general level officers so close to the action. This is also why the Russians thought that taking Kiev and killing Zelinsky would cause the Ukrainians to collapse.
And maybe more non-officers, too. I’ve heard up to 400+ total Russians killed in the attack.
That’s why Putin had a meltdown and sent million dollar cruise missiles to attack apartment buildings and their residents in Odessa today.
Most soldiers had nothing to do with that.

Those dead generals were supposed to take Nikolaev and Odessa and secure the Ukrainian Black Sea coast for KGB Putin.
That’s why 3 of them were there.

Even so, I’m sure they can do that without putting 50 officers on one airfield. There still are field telephones if nothing else.
All the dead generals we have seen are substantial gentlemen of a certain age. Much like US generals.
Why I say to wait until the Russians confirm the losses. They have done so so far, it might take a few days or a few weeks.
Given that though, Ukrainian claims have proven accurate, and indeed understate the case. The Russians have announced many deaths of Lt.Colonels and Colonels the Ukrainians never claimed.
Sounds like with the number of Russian generals reportedly killed that the Russian military has more generals than lieutenants. Either that, or Ukrainian propaganda promotes them from lieutenant to general just before they bite the bullet.
This was big meeting.

Their jobs:
General 1: Defend Kherson and take more villages on right bank.
General 2: Take and hold Nikolaev (by May 9th)
General 3: Attack Odessa (by May 9th)
A disaster for Putin.
