Whatever democracy there is to be in Ukraine is up to the Ukrainians. It is no business of the Russians.
********
1. What happens on Russia’s border is as much the business of Russia as what happens on our border is our business.
2. Sure, the Ukrainians ought to be able to adopt the Biden-EU version of democracy, but we do not have to support that choice.

Requiring a Russian invasion? Ukrainians were not trying to enter Russia, before Putin's invasion.

Even Trump was making nice with AMLO in Mexico even after AMLO demanded an open border. They made a deal in the end and AMLO ended up supporting Trump.

Putin certainly didnt try make nice with Zelensky for one minute. The problem isnt borders, its Russia. The default of Russian foreign affairs is hostility and intimidation.
