Nope, they’re Iranians and obviously have no intention of going to Rwanda. My question is what’s so bad about Europe, plenty of welfare states, starting with Sweden, that would welcome them with open arms.

I was thinking they’re Libyans. Or maybe, Iranians or Iraqis. Not too much in the news about them, lately. Al Qaeda was having a field day after Libya fell over 10 years ago, so who knows how many Al Qaida terrorists are migrating to Europe. A lot of the black slaves ran away to Europe the past 10 or so years, later.
They’re not white, so they don’t belong in Europe.
They really, really want to get to the UK because once they are there they have “made” it:
Free house off a local authority (I kid you not)
Free healthcare
Flexible labor force especially for low skilled workers. if they have a trade then they have struck gold.
English language / culture.
Various other benefits.
This is the reason why they make the perilous journey
