BTW, they already HAD nuke weapons and GAVE THEM UP per the Budapest Agreement that your side denigrates so willingly. It was a good idea to denuke them, you obviously agree. But we have betrayed them over this agreement and the Russians violated the agreement because they want those oil & gas reserves.
If they had never given up those nukes they never woulda been invaded.

No, the Ukrainian government never had operational control of the Soviet nukes that were in their borders when the USSR disorganized. They were controlled form Moscow at all times. They gave up a -claim- to them.
And thank god they did.
In any case, that government is long gone, replaced in a coup in 2014. When that government died, their agreements died with them. That agreement was abrogated in the coup.

And most of all, did DR think we wouldn’t notice that this whole conquest of Crimea and eastern Ukraine is all about the oil and gas that Ukraine began to develop by signing exploration agreements with oil majors in 2012. It only took 2 years for Putin to put together the Crimea coup. Now he has decided to go for the whole enchalada. Is it because DR’s buddy/boss(?)
