Much more “interesting” is that they only get around to saying they’ll do this in an election years...
Why didn’t they get it done when they held both Congress and the WH?
Reminds me of all the incessant “talk” by the GOP about obamycare, NPR financing, etc., etc...
The last time a Republican congress did anything substantial was in the 1990s when Billy & Monica were in the WH...
Where’s the Pillsbury Doughboy when we need him...
If the GOP manages NOT to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory in 2022, they could bring him back out of retirement as speaker...

It is sad election year posturing like this still holds sway over a vast swath of the sheep. Anyone who has been partially lucid for the last 50 years knows, if they had power they would be cowering from this bill.
