The vicious and vile attack dogs from both sides, from the very beginning, before he even announced, set the negative stage against him that never ended.
One in particular I remember that was most relentless, vicious and vile was Mark Levin.
After Trump was elected the phony bastard had no problem riding the Trump wave...until after Nov. 2020 when he joined the vile, hate filled never Trumpers at Fox News.

The networks actually hire these jacka$$es from political theater talent firms. The firms are agents that negotiate a fee to appear on a show, sometimes in a group, and say inflammatory crap. Sometimes several from the same agency will take opposing argument positions, like good cop - bad cop.
If you ask me there are elements in this that have criminal exposure. It's certainly unethical. I call it narrative steering.

Dunno what Trump will do. He is however spending a lot of time on endorsements. One can interpret that to mean different things but he is certainly not done with politics.
