My major concern: the Russians may be tempted to drop a 1 kT tactical nuke into the center of Mariupol. I don't think that will happen, because the use of ANY nuclear weapon guarantees the start of a quick escalation to a full-scale nuclear confrontation between the USA and Russia.

Impossible to know, since we can’t see the battlefield, but I would think CS gas would be effective against underground bunkers. It always works on TV.
