All Durham has to do now is to threaten one or more of these holdouts with prosecution unless they testify (with immunity granted if they do).

No one should be expected or forced to testify when they know they will be killed. Just call it the Clinton exception and let people off the hook. Should be a new rule or law or something....

Offer immunity. If they decline, that’s a crime, if I remember law school correctly.

It’s the prosecutors job to prove it without any help from you.

Pleading the 5th is a very smart move even if you are innocent of any crime, at least that you know of. Saves you from legal fees.
