He is a journalist and broadcaster and questioning events is not illegal
This isn’t about “illegality.” Journalists and broadcasters don’t have cart blanc authority to commit slander and libel. It’s pretty hard to get a judgment against one due to NY Times v. Sullivan. The fact the clown Jones wouldn’t comply with discovery is pretty telling.
You clearly don’t understand how the law works. Jones was never deposed on liability. Hence the default judgments. The deposition that he finally sat for, after accruing thousands in fines is solely about damages at this stage.
You can be angry about it if you want, but it won’t change the outcome. If he has all this evidence that he’s being persecuted without cause, the CT and TX Supreme Court would be glad to hear it on appeal.
