I was reading the book by Robert Stinnett ‘DAY OF DECEIT’ and the book details how Roosevelt [PLANNED and ALLOWED the Japs to attack Pearl Harbor.
Anyone who thinks it was a “surprise attack” is ignorant. The 8 point McCollum Memo was followed point by point from START TO FINISH. Every DEm president was involved from Mexican Spanish War to WW1 onwards.

Coons (or anyone) needs to be able to fully answer these questions in the affirmative with details. Otherwise, the US risks a lot:

2. Do we have a clear attainable objective?
3. Have the risks and costs been fully and frankly analyzed?
4. Have all other nonviolent policy means been fully exhausted?
5. Is there a plausible exit strategy to avoid endless entanglement?
6. Have the consequences of our action been fully considered?
7. Is the action supported by the American people?
They will imprison draft dodgers, and those who aid and abet them. They will do the same with anti-war protesters.
