The only people I have known in my entire life that liked Russia were leftists.
In fact, NPR for DECADES was nothing but pure Russian communist propaganda!
But now that crowd absolutely loathes Russia. They think communism didn't fail. Russia failed, and for that they can never be forgiven.
The “Gorbasm” (coined by Rush Limbaugh) comes to mind. I remember the media gushing over Gorbachev. They loved him, they loved the Soviet Union, and they loved communism. The democrats and their media sluts still do.
What happens when Russians feel really threatened or when Ukraine oversteps themselves and start attacking Russia? All these fancy weapons could really set Russia on edge. What happens next. If Putin is taken down his replacement will not be seeking peace but revenge! We should not be cheering Ukraine victories because each ne extends the war—we more death and opening it up for a wider war. Its fun to cheer but—I fear the worst could result. If you think the Russians will rise up and take out Putin and sue for peace—think again.
