Appearing on Stage in Vancouver earlier today with the head of TED Chris Anderson, Elon Musk discusses why he has made a financial bid to purchase the social media platform Twitter. The video is prompted to 11:40 when Musk takes the stage, the first part of the conversation surrounds the Twitter announcement that had made global headlines only a few hours earlier. WATCH:

You’re right!
Free Speech;
You either have it or you don’t.
Regardless of who owns it, the tech-heads in these companies are largely H1B Visa types - folks who have no appreciation for free speech.
Even with Musk in charge, the toolies will at a minimum work a soft rebellion, thwarting any effort to change. Sort of like gov employees do when a repub is in charge.
“Even with Musk in charge, the toolies will at a minimum work a soft rebellion, thwarting any effort to change.”
That’s you hold a companywide meeting and explain that you will fire three of them every week until it stops!
A couple weeks and they will settle right down to work.
Jim Robinson has the best social media platform - it’s called ‘FreeRepublic’ ......Musk should check it out and appreciate that it doesn’t cost $$$billions.
Only 3 per week?
I’d fire 3,000 of the most vocal opponents right off the bat, and then settle in to the 3 per week, selected at random based on job performance.
Pump,
then Dump
Read. Lift Off…and learn how smart he really is…
“I really like this guy, a living Hank Reardon/Francisco d’Anconia.”
I do too.
This lovely home my Wife and I built in ‘95 has had limited internet capacity since the beginning. DSL is available but the actual speed is below 1 Mbs (more like 377K).
Our 5 Mbs service costs $90.00/month. An 8 Mbs is available for $130.00.
Now we have Starlink and 150 Mbs for $110.00 (it just went up from $99.00).
Elon Musk is a can-do fellow!

In His Own Words, Elon Musk Explains Why He Tendered an Offer to Purchase Twitter (Video)
Did I say he wasn’t smart? All I said was I think he’s making money by manipulating securities markets.
Here is a video of the TED 2022:
Elon Musk at TED, Begins at 11 minute mark:
Look up Carl Ichan
I actually hoped Jim would offer it to Trump before he dies, unfortunately it would become a trash dump in order to turn a profit so good for us he didn’t.
Check out T-Mobile home internet it is faster and cheaper if you have a tower anywhere close enough. I know one guy who put an antenna up like the old TV antennas we used to have to use with a cell phone antenna and he cancelled his Starlink perpetual waiting list. Only 50 bucks a month for T-Mobile, if that is an option where you live.
T-R-U-T-H!!!
“Check out T-Mobile home internet “
Thank you for this, but it’s not available anywhere near my address in Montana - hence the satellite internet.
Starlink is nearly twice as fast as the listed specs of T-Mobile, but service is very fast with both providers.
Downloaded a 5 GB movie yesterday in 9 minutes (used to take three hours+).
Have to say I’m very happy!
Happy Easter, FRiend!
