A friend of mine suggested to forget an expensive boarder wall. Instead, erect towers every mile and place a Marine sniper on each one with rules of engagement to shoot to disable. Then capture the injured person and tattoo a big ‘I’ on their forehead that’s visible from 1/2 mile. Upon seeing an ‘I’, the ROE change to shoot and don’t worry about disabling them. He’s probably right that it would slow illegal immigration to a trickle.
