No it's not.
It's much Much MUCH higher than that! That's just the optical surface amount used in federal "accounting".
Russia knows what we should also be aware, if not know, that the fiat dollar has outlived its usefulness, and will fall.
Gold will KILL the FED. We’re watching it in realtime.
Silver will bury it.
(see usdebtclock link in other reply)
“Why don’t they pay in gold if they have enough?”
Why should they?
Russia has broken every agreement ever signed.
“Gold has value and rubles don’t.”
A commodity backed ruble will have plenty of value, while the Euro becomes toilet paper. Playing currency wars at this point is going to be economic suicide for the West.
When you owe the bank $100 and default, it is your problem.
When you owe the bank billions and default, it is their issue.
1. The cop who arrested you is the ringleader of his own home invasion crew.
2. The prosecutor in your case is the guy who fences the stolen property for the aforementioned cop.
3. The judge in your case was the same one who covers up this racket by putting innocent people in prison who are falsely charged with these home invasions.
“We’re watching it in realtime.”
I’m watching the US dollar index climb to new 20 year highs.
I don’t know what the mortgage holders in Canada did. It sounds like Canada started lifting the freeze after about 9 days. So I doubt many truckers defaulted on their mortgages.
And a peaceful protest in Canada can’t be compared to invading a sovereign country. I’d expect Canadian mortgage holders to be a little more sympathetic, than holders of Russian debt.
Because FED, neither federal nor a reserve but owned by a few families and about 300 stockholders, is in the process of folding.
They are saying screw-you to the west holders of their debt, as there is nothing the west can do about it. It’s a challenge, with no effective repercussions.
Lots of other benefits to Russia - like exposing Deep State Cabal cronies (I’m talking about the bidEn family here), their money/arms/child trafficking.
Endlessly making dollars on a computer at the Fed is also economic suicide and it’s a lot worse than what Russia might be doing!
Yep, more silver though... just compare the two fiat-dollar value wise.
Lead is good to have around too! (-;
Why is there not a dimes worth of difference between those talking points and the same ones spouted by people like AOC or other Squad members? “The US is an evil colonizer, the Great Satan. “.
Or it might be a message to the world to stop doing business in dollars.
You might want to think a bit more about that.
1. It makes everyone reluctant to own U.S. assets first and foremost.
2. It gives everyone a huge incentive to borrow money from U.S. institutions without having any concern about paying it back.
In the example I used on this thread, the person in the best position is the one who owes $300,000 to the bank for a mortgage on a $250,000 home … and who doesn’t have a checking account to lock down because he makes his mortgage payment in rolls of dimes and quarters every month.
This just in from the Circle-back girl:
White House warns of "extraordinarily elevated" inflation data ahead of tomorrow's report.
A precious-metals backed currency is the answer. Worked for thousands of years. The short few years of relying on citizen-trust of a government willing to print limitless currency is in it's death throes.
Isn’t DXY just a comparison of US debt notes to a basket of other debt notes? DXY going up doesn’t necessarily mean the dollar is becoming more valuable, it could also mean it is just devaluing slower than other paper.
“I’m watching the US dollar index climb to new 20 year highs.”
That’s just temporary and only because it’s seen as a safe haven during times of economic uncertainty and is what happens to it just before a major market crash. The Euro will be destroyed first, later hyperinflation in the US to follow after Euro denominated assets are done fleeing to US treasuries. After that there won’t be much left to hold up the dollar.
Yep, should have it around. In good quantities, too.
That said, Civil War II, watering liberty tree and using the ammo box should not be required now. The price of liberty was already paid by the founders, and the framers created the form of government we have to redress our grievances. We must educate ourselves in doing so, and we are.
To use the ammo box is to start from scratch, and IMHO we continue the Constitution shred that the Deep State/Great Reset is engaged in now. We’ll wind up with nothing like the Constitution, after that dust settles.
