When my dear Mother realized I was going to live in NJ after I married, —— she cried. Unfortunately, she had the idea of what the state was like from the turnpike close to the coast -—— as did so many people. it wasn’t till she visited me did she realize what a lovely state it is. Mountains to the west and an hour away -— the coast. And of course it is not called The Garden State without a reason.
And -— people don’t move here in droves, from NYC, without a reason.
CaliFornicated!
Cincinnati has had a rash of check thefts from the USPS “blue collection boxes”. They steal the checks and alter the amount, then cash them — for thousands of dollars. Seems some enterprising individual has a master key to the boxes — no doubt stolen from some unsuspecting USPS employee OR some employee themselves.
I wouldn’t expect Santa Monica to be a particularly high crime area. ?
I believe there are lots of Homeless there.
I’ve stayed in Santa Monica and am generally familiar with it. I just did a Street View down 14th st. and it looks like a good, well to do neighborhood.
Do you think the ghetto animals are visiting with robbery in mind?

“Do you think the ghetto animals are visiting with robbery in mind?”
That’s just it. There’s nothing of value or property to steal from in that area of 3-4 blocks. If there was a Walgreens or Ross around, sure but Ralphs’ is the closest to BLM raid. Compton isn’t even on the radar because the mexicans kicked out the obama kids the last 10 years.
