I read it a couple of days ago. It sounds like something Reinhard Heydrich would have said.

Hitler set out on a worldwide crusade against Bolshevism, winning large numbers of followers from foreign countries along the way. It appears Putin’s worldwide crusade will be against Nazism - first in Ukraine, then elsewhere, if Ukraine proves to be a success.

International socialism never worked as a viable political economic system. Putin is really the successor to Hitler. He offers toxic hyper nationalism, military aggression, and authoritarianism with personal loyalty to himself. The biggest weakness is there can be no heir apparent to Putin. Anyone who appears to be the heir is considered a threat to Putin and to the people who owe their wealth and positions to Putin.

Old Soviet/Russian joke: A geography instructor at a military academy asks the best cadet, “With whom does the Soviet Union border?” The cadet responds, “With whomever it wants.”

Also Xi Jinping offers hyper Han Chinese nationalism as a substitute for Communism. The Communist party is still in charge, but they no longer advocate state ownership of the means of production.

The author said that Ukraine does not have traditional fascist features - “no main Nazi party, no Fuhrer, no full-fledged racial laws (only their truncated version in the form of repressions against the Russian language).” So now it's clear what they mean by "Nazi" with respect to Ukraine. It's anti Russian-ism. We knew this all along but now there is proof. Anyone who opposes Russia is a "Nazi".

My guess is that these were all fig leaves - you can’t very well say you want masses of people to fight wars on your behalf so you can join Alexander in the ranks of the immortals, historically-speaking. So the cause has got to be something that captures the zeitgeist. In the 1930’s, that was anti-Bolshevism. Today, maybe Putin can recapture some of the magic, that caused millions of Germans and a number of other nationalities to risk it all on the nominal anti-Bolshevik struggle, with his anti-Nazi crusade.

The “deNazification of Ukraine” is nothing but removing any negative attitude toward Russia among the people of Ukraine. That’s all it is. It has nothing to do with the original Nazism as founded by Hitler.

At this point people who identify as “neo-nazis” are just fiercely nationalist but not much else
So there’s technically naziss in Ukraine and it’s used as an excuse to invade the whole country

“Ukraine is not where the nazis went.”
Say what??? They sure as heck did! Lots of them. Operation Sunrise, run by Alan Dulles, let some higher up NAZIs surrender secretly in Italy, and moved them and plenty under them surreptitiously to Ukraine. Guess who they became?
Azov.

What ever Putin gets out of this one thing is certain.
Putin has sown the seed of Ukrainian hatred for all things Russian for the next thousand years.
A hundred generations of Ukrainian sons and daughters will be raised to avenge this.

It has nothing to do with the original Nazism as founded by Hitler. It is to eliminate expression of thought that is contrary to Putin's ideas. If anything Putin is a fascist. He doesn't advocate government ownership of the means of production. He favors state intervention in society, toxic nationalism, and personal loyalty to himself that supercedes any organizational charts. He's more of political heir to Hitler than Stalin.

Gee that sounds familiar like anyone who opposes the left/rats is a Nazi, aka Trump Supporter.
