Buses Are Being Dispatched to Send Illegal Immigrants from Texas to Nation's Capital (Ha Ha, I love it. Excellent Governor Abbott!!!)

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) is delivering on his promise from earlier this week to transport illegal migrants to Washington, D.C., with the state dispatching buses to the southern border to begin relocating the migrants.

Over the course of the last day, the Texas Division of Emergency Management has dispatched an undisclosed number of buses to Texas communities that officials have reported as being overwhelmed by the surge of migrants transported there by the Biden administration.

"In the last 24 hours, TDEM has dispatched buses to areas where communities have expressed concerns about the federal government dropping off migrants and has the capability to send as many as is necessary to fulfill the requests from mayors and county judges," TDEM chief of media and communications Seth Christensen told Fox News Digital.

Christensen explained to the outlet that most Texas communities that have raised concerns over the influx of illegal immigrants being relocated to their communities claim the federal government has halted efforts to drop migrants off in their towns since Abbott announced his plans to send the migrants to D.C.

He also said each bus has the "capacity and supplies necessary to carry up to 40 migrants."

Abbott said at a news conference Wednesday that Texas would be transporting the migrants "to the United States Capitol, where the Biden administration will be able to more immediately address the needs of the people that they are allowing to come across our border."

This comes after the Center for Disease Control and Prevention announced earlier this month that Title 42, which was initially implemented by the Trump administration during the early days of the COVID pandemic and allowed U.S. border agents to immediately deport migrants who had illegally entered the U.S. in an effort to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus, will be repealed in May.

I don’t think this is such a good idea. This gets them into the country. And, they will eventually filter back down here where the jobs are. The better idea would be to close the border as allowed for in the State Constitution and the US Constitution.

True... but the illegals are still being let through the front gate, Abbotts just delivering them to the front porch... how’s this a win?

Sounds great but this is the kind of retribution that gets thwarted. Texas needn’t announce it’s intention to dump these parasites in DC, just do it in the dead of night...same as the left does it. Don’t tip your hand when you are fighting a war.

Governor Desantis needs to load ‘em up and move ‘em out to Delaware. That will lower arrests for drunk driving, domestic violence, and sexual assaults by at least 10% in my county.

I still disagree with this.......DO NOT LET THEM IN. Even in DC they will be put on government welfare and assistance and be a burden to the tax payers.

SEND ALL OF THEM BACK. I don’t care if they been here 5 seconds or 50 years...THEY BROKE THE LAW and MUST be sent back

“This gets them into the country.”

No it does not. They were released by Border Patrol already.

They should drop them off at Georgetown University with fake vouchers for dorm rooms.

Next stop?

Martha's Vineyard!

wouldn’t be surprised if the DHS/FBI/ATF try to arrest (or worse) the TX Governor.

When I was in the army they had what we called cattle cars to ship us around. I guess that would be insensitive.

Even in DC they will be put on government welfare and assistance and be a burden to the tax payers.

They are a also huge burden on our public services and drive up local taxes. But the worst impact they have had on our community is the increase in crime that comes with many of them. For example, the County sheriff's booking log for last night shows 28 arrests--4 were for non-residents (illegals) accused of DUI.

What happened to the plan that had Texas finishing The Wall in their own state?

No it does not. They were released by Border Patrol already.

If you lock down the border, they don't get in.

They need to fill cargo planes and send them to DC. Sending a bus load of 40 does little.

That’s where they were headed anyway. People who live in the DC area often have two or even three illegals on their payroll.

This article is about Texas, and what the Governor of Texas can do. Your comment was flat out wrong. Bussing them to DC does not “let them in”. They were already in.
