We never heard what happened with the count. We hadn’t heard from all the other states? Was the election actually certfied? It looked like a big charade to me.

Sure we did. Congress reconvened later that night and finished the certification. There was one additional challenge - Pennsylvania if I recall correctly - but the rest were accepted and the count was certified.

Congress reconvened latter that night but was that ever shown on television? I thought it had to be done openly before the whole nation?
