The Washington Post cited an unnamed source saying Trump has been fuming over his app flopping upon its release.Trump is now considering signing up with his former aide's conservative social media platform, per The Post.
Former President Donald Trump might be joining the conservative social media platform Gettr following the lackluster performance of his Truth Social app.
Trump has "privately fumed" about Truth Social's failure to attract a sizeable audience since its launch in February, according to The Washington Post, which cited an unnamed source familiar with the matter.
The source also told The Post that the former president is now considering joining Gettr a competitor to Truth Social that claims it is "founded on the principles of free speech."
Citing its source, the outlet reported that Trump has been holding back from posting on Truth Social because he doesn't believe that the app is "ready for prime time."
Truth Social's current head Devin Nunes, who is also a former Republican congressman, has been attempting to assuage Trump's concerns about the app by giving the latter frequent briefings, per The Post.

Like most, I wish Trump’s website was up and running right now for those inclined to use it, but it is what it is.
Those kind of high traffic websites must be more complex to create and maintain than most people think. The long Waiting Lists need to be acknowledged and dealt with first.
That being said, I’m glad Trump is looking around to see what other vehicles are now available and appropriate to suit his needs. Know when to hold ‘em, and when to fold ‘em.
I think over a long period of time, Mr. Trump will have his website airtight and well oiled, as he wishes.
Such building can continue separately from Getr
Wow, whomever Trump hired to implement this thing isn’t very smart, sounds familiar for a lot of his hires.
For starters I would bet there are more Android phones out here than rotten Apple, why didn’t they start with a P.C. app and an Android app.
There is no excuse for this poor performance in this day and age, fire them!

I signed up for Truth Social the very day it rolled out in the App Store, and I’m still on the waiting list as #204,263. If they can’t accommodate 200,000 users after 6 months of “rollout,” it’s never going to be viable.
